A former Vice Chairman Uhunmwonde Local Government Council, Son foremost industrialist and philanthropist Hon. Edosa Iyayi has expressed his profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo for his remarkable contributions to the state’s educational sector.
In a statement, Hon. Edosa Iyayi who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Iyayi Oil and Gas Limited commended Gov. Okpebholo for his approval for renovation and remodeling of Iyayi Grammar School Egba and seven others across the three Senatorial Districts of Edo State.
He said the initiative is not just about building structures but one about rebuilding dreams, rekindling hope and creating opportunities for children and future generations.
The statement said by prioritizing education, Governor Okpebholo has shown that he understands the long-term impact of providing a conducive learning environment and has proven himself to be a leader who acts selflessly, guided not by political influence but by the genuine desire to serve the people.
Hon. Edosa Iyayi commended the landmark project founded by his late father, Dr. Iyayi Efianayi in 1979 as a part of a vision affirming his strong belief in education as a tool for transformation.
He described Iyayi Efianayi Grammar School, Egba as one with a rich history and represents a legacy which continues to inspire many noting that it’s selection for renovation and remodeling is a source of immense pride to him, his family and the entire Egba community.
