Stakeholders in the oil and gas industry have called on all levels of government to empower more women through mentorship and training programs, aiming to amplify voices that have long been unheard and address cultural barriers hindering women’s inclusion in society.
The call was made during the 2025 conference of the Pengassan Women Commission (PWC), held under the auspices of NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NEPL) in Benin City.
