Landlord of House number eight, Chris Merry Street, Off Textile Mill Road, Benin City Edo State, Prince Abu Abdulahi has refuted allegations by tenants in the house that the roof was removed without notice, saying the tenants were given two months quit notice.

Prince Abu Abdulahi stated this in a telephone conversation with Independent Television News, while reacting to the allegations.
