The Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has said his principal represents all Nigerians, not only his political backers, as evidenced in his recent meetings in northern Nigeria.

Dare said this following the president’s recent visit to Kaduna, where he met political figures from different parties.

In a statement released on Sunday, Dare described the trip as “a resounding political validation” that broke what he called longstanding myths about the north’s attitude to Tinubu.

The aide described Kaduna as a political home for northern leadership

The presidential aide argued that the president’s visit reaffirmed ties of friendship and loyalty across regional and partisan divides.

He said the turnout and gestures of welcome contradicted narratives that parts of the north were a “no-go area” for the president.

On Friday, Tinubu was in Kaduna for the wedding of Nasirudeen, son of former Zamfara State governor and current Senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul’aziz Yari.
