Over twelve Political Parties are to participate in the Edo State Local Government Election scheduled for the eleventh of July this year.

The chairman, Edo State Independent Electoral Commission, EDSIEC, Sir Jonathan Aifuobhokhan speaking on what he called the huge success of primaries of the political parties across the one hundred and ninety-two in the state, reiterated the commission’s pledge to conduct a free, fair and credible local government election come July eleventh, 2026.
