A 50-year-old clergyman has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command over allegations of sexual assault involving members of his church, some of whom are minors.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Eno Ikoedem, confirmed the arrest, saying that the suspect is currently in custody and has confessed to the crime.
