Edo State Chapter of the PDP has called for the removal of the Resident Electoral Commissioner ahead of the by election scheduled for August 16, 2025 over what they described as having no confidence in him owing to his alleged role in the 2024 Governorship election in the state which casts doubt on the credibility of the exercise.
The State Caretaker Chairman of the party, Doctor Tony Aziegbemi, stated this during a press conference held in Benin City.
