The Palace of the Oba of Benin has directed the Odionwere of Abudu community, Pa Sunday Izekor, and Mr. Billy Ehigiator to appear before the palace over the crisis rocking the community.
Joy Obarisiagbon reports that the directive is in connection with a recent protest by residents of Abudu to the palace, expressing grievances over Mr. Ehigiator’s refusal to vacate the position of substantive Odionwere after Pa Izekor’s return.
