Traditional leadership matters have taken centre stage in Okhuo Community, Uhumwode Local Government Area of Edo State, following the announcement of a new Odionwere appointed by the Palace of the Benin Monarch.

Pa Samuel Eguamwense, who says he received palace approval after due application, has dismissed claims questioning the autonomy of Okhuo Community.
