The Acting Chairman of Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State, Honourable Omoruyi Igbinake, has congratulated the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, on the twin celebration of the Monarch’s birthday and ninth year anniversary of his ascension to the exalted throne of his forefathers as Oba of Benin.
Honourable Igbinake in a congratulatory message celebrated the Monarch’s firm commitment to the preservation of the rich cultural heritage of the Edo people and his impactful leadership since ascending the revered throne of his ancestors.
The Acting Ovia North East Local Government Chairman described the Oba as a rare breed of human species who has brought untold peace, progress, and development to the Benin Kingdom.
Honourable Omoruyi Igbinake prayed for the Monarch’s continued health, strength, and many more years on the throne.
The message, which is on behalf of Honourable Igbinake and the good people of Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State, also pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the Monarch as he continues to uphold the customs and traditions of the Benin Kingdom.
