Ossiomo Power Company says it is fully prepared to generate and distribute electricity to its consumers, but interference arising from its joint project with the Jiangsu Communication Clean Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (CCETC) has prevented power supply from reaching parts of Benin City.
The company’s Deputy General Manager, Engineer Francis Ekwe, made this known during an exclusive tour of its Quadrant Gas Plant 2 at the Ossiomo Industrial Park. He showcased the plant’s operational engines and transmission infrastructure, which he said are capable of supplying electricity within the industrial park and transmitting power to Benin City.
