A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered that the status quo between Ossiomo Investment Limited and Jiangsu Communication Clean Energy Technology Co. Ltd. (CCETC) be maintained.
CCETC filed a case—Suit No. FHC/ABJ/2031/2025—against the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja, and Ossiomo Power on 15th October 2025 at the Federal High Court, Abuja.
The Court, presided over by Hon. Justice P.O. Lifu, granted an injunction directing that all parties maintain the status quo pending the determination of the matter.
This order reaffirms that Ossiomo Power remains the 100% shareholder of COPC, as clearly reflected in CAC records.
The issues raised by CCETC in the Federal High Court are identical to those already before an arbitral panel in Singapore, suggesting what appears to be forum shopping.
Ossiomo Power reiterates its position as the sole shareholder of COPC and its commitment to stability, good governance, and transparency.
Similarly, an Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City, presided over by Hon. Justice Mary Itsueli, has granted an injunction restraining Chief Emmanuel Iyase (Okao of Ologbo Community), Mr. Eric Osawaru (Chairman, Ologbo Community Relations Committee), and Deacon Friday Osazuwa (Secretary, Ologbo Dukedom)—acting for themselves and on behalf of the Ologbo Community—from trespassing on, selling, or erecting structures on the 1511.269 hectares of land located at the Ossiomo Industrial Park, Ologbo, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.
The restraining order, Suit No. B/908/2025, was issued on 11th November 2025.

The case has been adjourned to 26th January 2026 for hearing on the motion on notice.
