The Onojie of Ewu, His Royal Highness, Jafaru Isesele The First has thanked President Bola Tinubu and Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo for citing the ultra modern bus terminal for the South-South geo-political zone at Ewu.
In an appreciation message, the Ewu traditional ruler noted that the project will not only boost the economic activities in the community, but will also empower the people.
He poured praises on the collaboration between President Tinubu and Governor Okpebholo which he said gave birth to the project.
The Royal father said the development is a unique project that will have profound economic impact on Ewu Kingdom, in particular and Nigeria, as a whole.
Appreciating the gesture the traditional ruler said he recognizes the socio-economic, cultural, traditional and customary impact the modern bus terminal will have on the ever -hospitable indigenes of Ewu, and the entire people of the South-South Geo- Political Zone and indeed the economy of Nigeria as a whole.
The Ewu Royal father also eulogised the Minister of Transport, Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali for the technical and indepth research that supported the citing of the project in the community.saying EWU, from time immemorial, has always served as the socio-economic and cultural triangular link, between the South West, South- South, South East and the whole northern Nigeria.
He prayed for God’s guidance for President Tinubu and his administration, assuring of the continous unalloyed support and prayers of Ewu people for President, Governor Okpebholo and their governments.
