The Vice Chairman of Independent Television and Radio, and former two-term Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion, on Sunday visited the Communications Complex of ITV and Radio at Iguosa for an on-the-spot assessment of the damage caused by a recent fire incident.
Chief Lucky Igbinedion was received on arrival by the management of ITV and Radio, led by the Managing Director, Engr. Elvis Obaseki.
He was taken on a guided tour of the affected areas, by Engr. Obaseki where he personally assessed the extent of the damage caused by the fire, which broke out on the afternoon of Friday, August 22nd, 2025, and affected several offices in the administrative block.
During the visit, the former Governor of Edo State also inspected the ongoing construction of a multi-purpose hall within the station’s Communications Complex at Iguosa/Oluku Benin City
Chief Igbinedion further toured both the state-of-the-art digital television and radio studios.
