In a bid to ensure a cleaner, healthier, and safer environment for all residents of Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, the Executive Chairman, Rt. Hon. Alabi Bliss Oshionogue, has mandated the Environmental Health Services Department of the Council to participate in and monitor the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in the local government area, as directed by the Edo State Government.
Vice-Chairman of the local government, Hon. Fatimbi Azamata, who represented the Council Chairman, stated this while monitoring the level of compliance during the sanitation exercise.
