The Uhunmwonde Area Customary Court, Ehor, Edo State, Nigeria, presided over by Mrs. P. O. Aduwa Esquire, has ruled that all parties in the suit number UACC/56/2024 between Ifaluyi Igbinige versus Richard Idugboe and Pa. Johnson Ifa Ogiefa maintain the existing status quo as existed on the seventh day of January, 2026, regarding the Odionwereship of Igue Idugboe Community.
Making reference to the ruling in a statement, the Solicitor for Igue Idugboe, Uwaifo Efosa Esquire, for E.S. Uwaifo and Associate, says the ruling forbids Pa. Johnson Ifa Ogiefa, the Odionwere of Orior Osemwende, his agents, servants, privies and associates from swearing their crony, one Mr. Peter Igbinidu, or any other person in as the Odionwere of Igue Idugboe Community.
The Court warned that breaching the order of the court amounts to contempt for which they stand to be committed to correctional custody.
