Mimiko calls on workers to engage in dialogue

Ondo State Governor, Doctor Olusegun Mimiko has used the 2013 Workers Day celebration held in Akure to call on workers in the state to always engage in dialogue in pressing home their demand.

Governor Mimiko pointed out that through dialogue, both government and labour will arrive at a meaningful compromise in meeting the agitation of workers in the state.

While commending labour unions for supporting programmes of government, Governor Mimiko promised to continue to enhance the wellbeing of workers and also tackle problem of youth unemployment.

Omorowa Jonah reports that the 2013 Workers Day Centenary celebration has as its theme, hundred years of Nationhood, the challenges of Nation development.
