Legal practitioners in Benin set agenda for new CJN

Some Legal Practitioners in Benin City have described the confirmation of Olukayode Ariwoola as the Substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria as a right step in the right direction, following his professional antecedents.

Donald Ehimiyein reports that the lawyers want the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria to immediately tackle the issue of poor welfare for judges amongst other crucial challenges threatening to annihilate the judicial sector.
