Gov. Obaseki, says no going back on sharing of money to greedy people who do not mean well for the state

Edo State Governor, Gov.  Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki have reiterated that no going back on sharing of state’s fund meant for workers and the people of the state including pensioners to some greedy people who do not mean well for the state.

He said there is no need talking about the gubernatorial election which is still more than a year away, that it is just an intended strategy by these greedy people to shatter and turn away his attention from good governance which is not beneficial to them but to the well meaning people of the state just because they are not gaining as they used to, in the past where the resources meant for the people is shared among them.

He added that now salaries are been paid as at when due and pensioners get their entitlement  as suppose too.

He made this assurance wen the Muslims in Benin City paid homage to him as part of activities for the celebration of Eid El -Fitr.

Kingsley Uchegbu reports that Muslims from various ethnic groups in Edo State on the occasion of the visit prayed for the governor, the state and for peace in the country.
