Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has listed conditions that will make Nigerians realize their enormous potential.
According to him, equality before the law, enforcement of laws without fear or favour, and election of leaders through a free and fair process are necessary.
Other conditions are the prioritization of education and freedom of speech.
Johnson spoke in Lagos at the 16th Osigwe Anyiam-Osigwe lecture series with the theme: “Rehumanising human experience”.
The former UK leader, who was excited to be in Nigeria again, said the time has come for both nations to work together to create more opportunities for their citizens, especially at a time more countries are drifting apart.
