National Security: Aisha Buhari Lauds Military Wives’ Contribution
The contribution of the Military Wives in keeping the home front as their husbands attend to national security in defence of the Nation, cannot be overemphasized, which was the reason why stakeholders in government and security sectors gathered to witness the formal presentation of the Book titled “Journey of a Military Wife”, written by the DEPOWA President, Barrister Victoria Irabor, on the experiences of Military Wives in the Barracks. The Author and wife of the Chief of Defence Staff, Barrister Victoria Irabor, spoke on the inspiration behind the Book, “Journey of a Military Wife”. The Imo State Governor, Service Chiefs and others commended the DEPOWA President for the Book and its impacts on the Officers’ Wives. High point of the event was the formal presentation of the Book by the First Lady, Imo State Governor, Service Chiefs and other dignitaries present.
