A 41-year-old man identified as Uwa Odemwingie has allegedly been killed by suspected herdsmen in Iguero Community, Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday evening, sparked protests by residents on Wednesday as they condemned the rising wave of insecurity in the area and called on government and security agencies for urgent intervention.
