President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday wrote the House of Representatives seeking approval of the parliament to put an end to the era of multiple budget implementation.
The President is seeking the approval of the Assembly to draw the Forty-three point five hundred and sixty-one trillion naira from the consolidated revenue fund of the federal government as expenditure for 2026.
President Bola said apart from ending multiple budget implementation, it will also ensure reasonable, unprecedentedly high capital performance rates on the 2024 and 2025 capital budgets.
