Christians in Nigeria have joined millions of faithful across the world to celebrate Mothering Sunday, a day dedicated to appreciating the sacrifices, love and nurturing role of mothers in families and society.

‎From churches in Benin City to worship centres in Abuja, Lagos, Warri and Ekpoma, clergymen and women used the occasion to highlight the importance of motherhood in building strong homes and responsible societies.
