As Edo State prepares for the resumption of the second term, some schools in Benin City have begun final preparations for the return of students. Schools such as Itohan Girls Grammar School and Ivbiotor Primary School along Sapele Road have been neatly cleaned, with teachers already resuming duties ahead of the new academic term.
However, a contrasting situation was observed at Ohuoba Primary School on Murtala Mohammed Way in Oredo Local Government Area, where the school environment has been overtaken by wild grasses, raising concerns about readiness for resumption.
