Management and staff of Ashland Hotel in Okhoromi Community, Benin City, have appealed to the Edo State Government and security agencies to intervene following what they described as a violent invasion of the hotel premises.
The hotel, reportedly owned by the deposed chief priest of the community, the Ohen of Okhoromi, Ohen Ovbokhan Igbinovia, was allegedly attacked by persons suspected to be prominent indigenes of the community.
