The member representing Oredo Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Honourable Esosa Iyawe, has emphasized the need for a hygienic area to be provided for the slaughtering of livestock for human consumption.
The Federal Lawmaker made the statement during the inauguration of a renovated ultra-modern abattoir equipped with a solar-powered borehole, toilet and bathroom facilities, a standard slaughter slab, and a 10KVA generator to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
