Independent Television and Radio has been commended for its balanced reportage, accurate information dissemination, and exemplary service in Edo State and Nigeria over the years.
The commendation was given by the Congress of Faculty Speakers, CONFAS, University of Benin, led by its Chairman, Honourable Taiye Abiodun, during a courtesy visit to the station’s management.
An Award of Excellence for public service was presented to the Managing Director of ITV and Radio, Engineer Elvis Obaseki, in recognition of the station’s outstanding contributions to media and communication in Edo State.
