The Oba of Benin Omo N’Oba N’Edo Ukuakpolokpolo Oba Ewuare the Second has asked the general public not to protest to the Palace in the month of December as the Palace performs the annual Ugie festival.
A statement by the Secretary Benin traditional council Mr. Frank Irabor says the Palace has also instructed that henceforth, those who have complaints and would want to protest to the Palace, should either do so either on Tuesday or Thursday.
The Palace also asked that protests to the Palace on a daily basis by individuals and villages would no longer be entertained except on Tuesday and Thursday.
