A bill for a law to repeal the Rural Electricity Board Law 1972 and make provision for the Electricity Generation, Transmission, and Distribution for residents of Edo State has scaled through second reading at the Edo State House of Assembly.
The bill seeks to establish an electricity market for Edo State and open avenues for the creation of employment opportunities and encourage investments, Micro Small, and Medium Enterprises in the state.
