Mixed reactions have continued to trail the recent judgment of the Edo State High Court declaring unlawful the restriction of movement during the state’s environmental sanitation days.

‎While some legal practitioners and residents in Benin City have welcomed the ruling as a victory for fundamental human rights, others fear it may weaken efforts aimed at maintaining environmental cleanliness and public health.
