The body of the late former Chairman of Nigeria’s Police Service Commission, DIG Parry Osayande (Rtd.), has been laid to rest in Benin City, with the traditional twenty-one-gun salute echoing through the air.
Pius Nsogho reports that a Requiem Mass in his honour at the Holy Cross Cathedral on Mission Road, Benin City, which preceded the interment, attracted notable personalities from across the country, including the Senator representing Edo South, Sen. Neda Imasuen, and the Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general election, Mr. Peter Obi.
