The Odionwere and elders of Obayantor Two, in a statement signed by the Odionwere, Pa Sunday Enogieru, General Secretary, Nosa Aigbogho, and Okaighele, Osaretin Otunaiye, say the verification exercise is a measure to prevent illegal land speculation in the community and ensure the validation of all such title documents given to landowners.

The statement advised landowners in Obayantor Two Community, Benin-Sapele Road, individuals or groups, to present the approval documents to the verification committee set up for the purpose at the Committee Hall, close to the Community Oguedion, otherwise known as Elders Chamber.

According to the statement, the verification exercise will hold from Monday, 14th April, to Monday, 30th June, 2025, Mondays to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The statement warned that anyone who fails to present his or her land title document for verification will be deemed to have forfeited such land.
