Elders of Okokhuo community in Ovia North East local government area, Edo State have placed an immediate ban on the sales of community land including Oba land.

Council) and Okaighele, Emmanuel Adam says land in Okokhuo community is no longer available for sale to individuals, groups or corporate farmers.

The statement explains that any transactions involving Okokhuo community land are unauthorised and will be considered null and void.

It cautioned individuals or groups engaging in land transactions within the community do so at their own risk and will face consequences.

The community advised stakeholders, potential buyers, developers and corporate farmers to refrain from engaging in any dealings in Okokhuo community to avoid legal implications.
