Rice farmers under the aegis of Kukuruku Farmers Association in Edo State have appealed to the state government for urgent intervention over rising farm input costs and low returns from harvest.

The farmers, who gathered at the Government House in Benin City, say they are facing serious financial strain ahead of a new farming season.
