A notorious bandit leader, Kachalla Isiya, has identified incessant alleged attacks and killings of herdsmen by Hausa communities as major reasons for the escalation of retaliatory attacks and kidnapping in Katsina state.
Kachalla states this in Faskari during a meeting to broker peace between bandits and locals in the area.
