Nigeria’s premier private university, Igbinedion University, Okada, has announced the appointment of two new Deputy Vice Chancellors.
A statement by the Institution’s Deputy Director of Public Relations, Mr. Lucky Eboh-Onokwe, lists the new appointees as Professor Osaretin George Izevbuwa, from Oba Erediauwa College of Law, as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, and Professor Blessing Ose Oligbi, from the College of Arts and Social Sciences, as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics.
The statement adds that Professor Osaretin George Izevbuwa, a pioneer staff member who joined the services of the institution in 2017, is a Professor of Comparative Criminal Law, and until this appointment, was the Dean, Oba Erediauwa College of Law.
The University says the new Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor Blessing Ose Oligbi, a Professor of Public Sector & Development Economics, prior to the appointment, was the Dean of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan College of Arts and Social Sciences.
Both appointments take effect immediately as the university community congratulates the new appointees on these strategic appointments and extends best wishes for successful tenures.
