Residents of Irokhin-Evboakhin community in Uhumwonde Local Government Area of Edo State have voiced strong opposition to land ownership claims made by their neighbors from Ogaga community.
The two communities, which share a common boundary, remain embroiled in a contentious dispute over rightful ownership of the land.
Irokhin-Evboakhin natives are now appealing directly to His Royal Majesty, the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, to intervene and resolve the long-standing conflict.
