
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday visited Kaduna State on a one-day working tour, where he commissioned a series of infrastructural projects in the Rigachikun area of Igabi Local Government, aimed at boosting rural development and improving access to essential services.
Shortly after his arrival, the President travelled to Rigachikun, where he inaugurated newly completed road networks, upgraded healthcare facilities,a 300-bed hospital and modernised schools as part of Kaduna State’s broader initiative to close development gaps between urban and rural communities.
The President inaugurated the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, with facilities located in Rigachikun, Soba, and Samaru Kataf.
These centres were established by the Kaduna State Government under Governor Uba Sani’s administration.
Additionally, President Tinubu unveiled 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses to modernise Kaduna’s public transportation system
