Some Members of Civil Society Organization and Stakeholders in Edo State have raised serious concerns about the resurgence of illegal activities by Community Development Agencies, known as CDAs, who are being accused of driving a wave of land grabbing, violence, and intimidation in various communities in the state.
This alarm was highlighted in a communique directed to Governor Monday Okpebholo, lawmakers, traditional rulers, human rights organizations, and student groups.
The call is for urgent government intervention to safeguard lives, properties, and investor confidence in the state.
