Over 170 people are said to be in captivity, while another two hundred people were murdered after bandits invaded Wuri town in Kaiama Local Government Area, Kwara State, and Kunkoso in Borgu Local Government Area, Niger State.

Correspondent Nma Mohammed, who visited Kunkoso and other villages bordering Kebbi State, said the bandits in their hundreds operated from around 7 pm to 11 pm.
