As preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Special Adviser to the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Mathias Osobase Ehizua, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Edo Central Correspondent, Chris Omijie, reports that the declaration took place at the party secretariat in Ekpoma.
