Legendary Hollywood filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele have been found dead in their Los Angeles home.
Authorities say police and firefighters responded to a medical emergency call on Sunday afternoon at the couple’s residence in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Robbery-homicide detectives have launched an investigation, although police say no suspects are currently being sought.
Reiner, aged 78, was widely known for directing iconic films such as The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery and A Few Good Men.
His wife Michele was 68.
California Governor Gavin Newsom has confirmed their deaths, as tributes continue to pour in for the acclaimed filmmaker and actor.
