Guests from around the world have arrived in Benin City ahead of the 91st birthday celebration of the Esama of Benin, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, scheduled for Thursday, 11th September.
Deborah Ogbeifun reports that the guests, children of the celebrant and Esama of Benin, ambassadors, diplomats, and well-wishers — were warmly received at the Benin Airport by the matriarch of the House of Igbinedion, Lady Cherry Igbinedion.
