Motorists in Benin metropolis have accused the Edo State Petroleum Taskforce Monitoring Committee of failing to effectively monitor filling stations, allowing some fuel dealers to allegedly short-change consumers through under-dispensing at the pumps.
The concern comes amid the high cost of Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, which currently sells between ₦1,000 and ₦1,350 per litre in parts of the city.
