The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has summoned contractors handling sections of the Benin-Sapele road project, funded by the State Government, to explain the reasons for the delay or face serious sanctions.
The Governor, who paid an unscheduled visit to the site, had expressed displeasure over the slow pace of work despite the financial mobilisation of contractors.
