The English Premier League, Fulham and Manchester United settled for a one-all draw at Craven Cottage.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was left to count the cost of his missed first-half penalty as Emile Smith Rowe earned Fulham a point at Craven Cottage.
Leny Yoro’s deflected second-half header put United ahead after the break and officially went down as a Rodrigo Muniz own goal.
Second half substitute, Emile Smith Rowe, pounced on an Alex Iwobi cross from the touchline that had bounced into the visitors’ six-yard box.
Both sides were unable to get another goal and shared the points at the end of ninety minutes.
In other games, Everton started Premier League life at their new stadium with their first victory of the season, as Jack Grealish provided both assists in the two nil win against Brighton while Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest played out a feisty one all draw at Selhurst Park.
