Motorists and other Members of the Public have decried the practice of conductors hanging on the doors of mini commercial buses with bus drivers driving off before passengers have a chance to take their seats as it poses a significant threat to the safety of passengers.

Joy Obarisiagbon reports that, the perilous ride has become a common sight on Ikpoba Hill, Upper Sakponba Road, Ring Road and even Airport Road in Benin City, with conductors clinging to the doors of buses as they navigate through heavy traffic or speed through hilly spots.
