The immediate past Deputy Speaker and member representing Esan North-East Constituency II at the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Maria Omozele Oligbi Edekor has formally defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the local government level.
The defection took place on Wednesday at the APC Secretariat in Uromi, the administrative headquarters of Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Edo Central Correspondent, Chris Omijie, reports that the rally attracted APC leaders and members from across the Edo Central Senatorial District, who were on the ground to receive the lawmaker and her entourage of supporters.
