The Edo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), supervised by Senator Roland Owie, has elected former Oredo Local Government Chairman, Mike Ehima, as its new state chairman.
Members of the party stated that the emergence of Mike Ehima followed a keenly contested election in which he secured 24 votes to defeat his opponent.
In his remarks, Senator Roland Owie, a party leader, explained that the election was conducted in line with directives from Abuja and in accordance with the party’s constitution.
Also speaking, one of the party leaders, Mr. Ogunsuyi, commended the peaceful conduct of the congress, describing the process as free and fair.
